Prayer

Through God's grace, there are many new believers in the mountains of Lesotho where the Flying Pastors are working. Pray as the Apostle Paul did for the Philippian believers: "That your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God."

Financial Support

The Lesotho Flying Pastors ministry supports several pastoral couples in roadless areas that can be reached only by aircraft or by walking. They also provide several short term teams per month the opportunity to supplement the ministries of the pastoral couples in these areas. By using the aircraft, the pastors are saved several days of strenuous travel on dangerous roads every trip. In some places where the couples live, food and supplies are simply not available without the airplane delivering them. For these missionary-pastors, the airplane is a lifeline and a connection to their families and to medical care that enables them to be far more effective at their work.  By God’s grace, scores of people in these areas heard for the first time about Jesus and have begun to see the transformation that He brings to their lives. Disciples of Christ are being made and developed into disciple makers themselves. 

All this does not come cheap. The cost of transporting, supporting and feeding these pastors averages over $8000 per month. Would you prayerfully consider donating to this effort to reach the isolated people of the mountains of Lesotho? There are three ways to contribute:

1.     Through the MAF website you can make a donation to the Lesotho Flying Pastors fund.

2.     Call 800-359-7623 and ask for Donor Services. Tell them that you want to donate to Lesotho Flying Pastors, Project Fund 4998.  

3.     Send a check payable to MAF to PO Box 47, Nampa ID, 83653, with “Lesotho Flying Pastors 4998” in the memo line.

Volunteering
