Sefiri Sepheephee

Moruti Sefiri Seepheephe grew up a shepherd boy in the rugged mountains of Lesotho. This gives him a unique perspective and ability to relate to the isolated people of the mountains of Lesotho. Sefiri has degree from Christ Baptist Seminary in Polokwane (Pietersburg) South Africa. In addition to his work with Lesotho Mountain Discipleship, Sefiri coordinates short term mission teams from Baptist World Mission and serves as the chaplain for MAF Lesotho, ministering to both nurses from Lesotho Flying Doctors and to patients who are evacuated from mountain medical clinics to Maseru for medical attention. Sefiri has a heart for discipling young believers in their walk with Jesus and for mentoring those who are serving as ministers of the Gospel. His role as missionary mentor for full time staff of Lesotho Mountain Discipleship keeps him in the mountains of Lesotho most of the time. Sefiri and his wife Mat'sepo have a son and a daughter.

Ausi Makopoi Shoaepane

Ausi Makopoi Shoaepane began to volunteer with what was then the Flying Pastors in 2019. For the next two years she brought enthusiasm and organizational skills to the role of administrative assistant for the organization. She helped prepare the missionary teams for scores of trips, providing invaluable coordination of schedules and logistics, while also going on most of the trips. Since 2022, she has been the Volunteer Mentor for short term trip volunteers. In this role, she leads teams of volunteers on trips, helping them grow in their relationship with God and to seek out His call on their lives. Makopoi has extensive experience in children's and youth ministry and specializes in using sports as a tool to reach people with the Gospel. In 2023 she completed a 3-month Sports Leadership Training with ISLS. She also holds a certificate from Lesotho Theological Education by Extension (LTEE).

Setlokoane and Mahlompho Seepheephe

Setlokoane Seepheephe grew up in a rural area of Lesotho. Since he came to Christ in 2012, he has been passionate about reaching other Basotho with the Gospel. He and Mahlompho have been married since 2018. Since 2020, they have been serving as a missionary couple in Tlhanyaku. Through leading Bible studies in various villages, encouraging marriages and reaching out to shepherds while living among the people, they are making disciples in God's kingdom. Setlokoane and Mahlompho have one daughter. They both have completed their certificate from Lesotho Theological Education by Extension (LTEE).

Pete West

Pete West, who was born in Harare, Zimbabwe, has been working as a missionary and church planter in Lesotho since 2008. Since their marriage in 2004, Pete and his wife Jo, along with their three sons, have shared the news of Jesus and His transforming love through teaching and administration at schools, through church planting, through conservation farming ministry and through food relief during COVID. He currently leads River of Life Church in Maseru, which was planted in 2015. In 2024, Pete became the leader of Lesotho Mountain Discipleship (formerly the Lesotho Flying Pastors). He brings a wealth of experience in Basotho culture and discipleship along with a gentle servant leader’s heart to the team.

Sekhobe and Mamolemo Ntho

Sekhobe and Mamolemo have been married since 2016. From the rural mountains in Mokhotlong, they led a fellowship in their home village from 2013 to  2022. Both have been followers of Christ for more than 10 years. Sekhobe and Mamolemo have diplomas in primary education from the Lesotho College of education. As teachers, they use their vocation to minister to the schoolchildren at Matsaile as volunteer tutors. Their goal is to lead the group of believers in Matsaile and develop leadership that can also make disciples. They both have completed their certificate from Lesotho Theological Education by Extension (LTEE).

'Mamokete Sello

Ausi 'Mamokete  Sello  has been the Administrator for the Lesotho Mountain Discipleship since 2022. Her role is to coordinate logistics for the for the Pastors ministries. Her duties include procuring food, scheduling flights, coordinating trips and writing reports for Lesotho Mountain Discipleship. 'Mamokete likes being able to relate with many people and building relationships.

Joe Adams

Joe Adams coordinates the relationship between Lesotho Mountain Discipleship and MAF. Until 2024 he was the chairman of the board of the Lesotho Flying Pastors, as it was then known. As a pilot for MAF Lesotho, Joe enjoys providing transportation medical patients, for doctors and nurses of the Lesotho Flying Doctors and for missionaries of Lesotho Mountain Discipleship. Joe appreciates that his role as a pilot allows him to show his passengers the love of Christ as their lives are transformed both physically through medical flights and spiritually through the message of the gospel brought by the missionaries. Joe and his wife, Karen, have a daughter and son.
